Dog & Cat Boarding

We are located about 1 mile for St Austell Town Centre Cornwall, we are set in picturesque part of the Gover Valley, thus the name Gover Valley Kennels & Cattery.

Our kennels and cattery was formed in the late 1970’s. Paul and Amanda took over in October 2005.

We are Cornwall Council licensed for 35 heated Dog Kennels and 28 heated Cat Chalets, to take care of your pets whilst you are away from home.

Also at Gover Valley Kennels and Cattery we cater for both long or short term boarding, with the flexibility to take your dog/cat for day care (please see below).
Please note that due to extortionate insurance costs we are sadly unable to take XL Bully dogs.

Dog/Cat Day Care

Just a reminder that Gover Valley Kennels offer a day care service for dogs from just £19.00 per day! We are open for this service as early as 8am and as late as 5.45pm for pickups.
Great for if you’re visiting Cornwall or if you’re back at work and need your beloved pooch looking after in a safe, secure and fun environment. They will get lots of play time in our large enclosed paddock.

Bathing Charges

Give your dog the full pampering experience and have your beloved dog bathed and brushed ready for your collection. You can have your dog bathed and brushed even if your dog isn’t staying with us! Please see below price guide:
